The Process For Fairfax Egg Donors

Whether you live in Fairfax, Washington D.C. or one of the many cities throughout NoVA, Fairfax EggBank wants to ensure your egg donation experience is as simple and straightforward as possible. We ask our donors to commit to the program for a minimum of five months. Be sure you can make this time commitment before proceeding.

Here’s what to expect from start to finish:

Applying: After making sure you meet our eligibility requirements, you’re invited to fill out an online application. Our head geneticist and egg donor coordinators will review this application to determine whether you’d make a good candidate as an egg donor.
Screening: We’ll provide thousands of dollars of medical and genetic testing free of charge during the screening process. This step is in place to ensure you meet our health and genetic background standards. Once screening is complete, you’ll receive a $200 reward.
Getting accepted: At this point in the process, we invite qualified applicants into our egg donation program. If you’re accepted, you’ll earn an additional $300.
Donating: During your egg donation cycle, you can expect to visit our Fairfax clinic six to eight times. Your final visit to the clinic will be the egg retrieval procedure. The procedure time is approximately 20 minutes, and the total time in the office will be about 2 hours. You can donate eggs up to six times in your lifetime.
