Our clinic is centrally located, so you’ll have a convenient place to go for the required monitoring appointments leading up to the egg retrieval procedure. The actual egg retrieval procedure will take place at our Bloomfield Hills location.

The Process for Ann Arbor Egg Donors

We make the egg donation process as simple and straightforward as possible for our potential donors living in Ann Arbor or throughout the Detroit metro area. From start to finish, the egg donation process requires a commitment of at least five months as you go through the steps one by one:

Application: After you check out our eligibility requirements to make sure you meet the qualifications, you can fill out our online application, which will be reviewed by our head geneticist and egg donor coordinators.
Screening: To determine whether you meet our health and genetic qualifications, you’ll be asked to go through an extensive screening process involving thousands of dollars of testing, free of charge for you. You’ll get a $200 reward once the screening is complete.
Acceptance: After you’re screened, we’ll contact you to let you know whether or not you’re accepted into our egg donor program. If you are, you’ll earn an additional $300.
Donation: The egg donation process may involve 6 to 8 appointments at the Ann Arbor clinic before the actual egg retrieval procedure. The procedure itself lasts about 20 minutes. With approval from our team, you can donate eggs up to six times.

Qualifications You Must Meet to Become an Egg Donor

If you live within two hours of our Ann Arbor location, you may be eligible to become an egg donor. Some of the other qualifications for egg donation include:

Age: You must be between the age of 19 and 30 years old.
Overall good health: We accept non-smoking women with regular periods, no reproductive irregularities & a BMI in the range of 18 to 26.
Detailed family medical history: This history must go back three generations.
Minimum education: Egg donors must have a high school diploma or the GED equivalent as their education level.
Willingness to commit: The egg donation process requires a commitment of at least a five-months.
